Also Rexburg has now officially become Iceberg because we just had a huge snow storm the other day and all our power went out and everything so that's always dandy! Other than driving in the snow I love to play in it but after this winter I hope we never have to live in it again! Although if we move to Salt Lake theres more snow so we will see what happens.

It's been a while....
Christmas is one of my favorite times of year! Since Landi and I are only going to be in Rexburg until April we figured we would stay with our skimpy, little, tiny tree that we have grown to love so we put that up this last week! This is our tree....
And Landi was so excited to put up our tiny little tree so he made this face he was so excited.....
Also for my final in Social Studies Methods we had to make a center that we would use in our classroom and than bring them to class to show everyone else and that way the rest of us future teachers could still some ideas that other people had used because thats all we teachers do is still other teachers ideas! Anyways I decided to do mine on the United States Presidents since they are a huge part of the social studies and our country. We had to come up with 3 activities that the students would be able to do in a matter of like 30 seconds to as long as like 10 minutes. They are supposed to be centers that students can go to if they finish an assignment early and they need something else to do while everyone else is finishing their assignments up. Anyways so my three activities were they had to match the presidents faces with the states that they were born in, match the presidents faces with their vice presidents and what political party they are from, and than write how the amendments that have to do with the presidents affect the office of the president. I spent a total of about 24 hours on this project all together and if Landi didn't help me out it would have been more and this is what it turned out to look like......
Also in the last week or two Landi and I have made banana bread and we pretty much decided that banana bread making was going to be our family home evening activity every week and while we were making banana bread we made a mess.....
